A Visit to Kawa Village to Meet with the Community and the Parents of the Children Attending our School

Yesterday we reached Kawa village to meet with the community and the parents of the children attending our school. It was an important day dedicated to the distribution of materials for the launch of the agricultural activity, which is part of the educational project: 50 families received a 50 kg bag of rice and the necessary tools to begin farming. During discussions with the families, we talked about how to sustain the school feeding program in the future. Since February, meals have been provided at the school, and the parents committed themselves to contributing personally to support the initiative. It is inspiring to see people living in such remote rural communities working with great determination toward real and sustainable change over time. It may not be easy, but we believe that change is possible… as they say here: “small small” (little by little) #FonteDiSperanza #LittleSteps.
